A couple of years ago, a guy named Johan Bromslo - founder of Bromslo Entertainment in Oslo -walked into one of my Google Business Profile workshops.

I had met Johan a few times previously whilst playing football and we hit it off as we are also both musicians.

We lost touch but he responded to an invite to one of my workshops/networking sessions I did whilst I had an office space on Oslo city centre (more about that another time)

It was good to see him, he told me he is now running a music agency and looking to grow his business.

I could see that during the workshop that the cogs were spinning and he was taking it all in. At the end we chatted and then I didn’t hear from him or see him again. I got very busy with my new family and so wasn’t doing as much networking or indeed much of anyting other than gigs and family.

So imagine my suprise when a year later he called me up appropo of nothing and started to wax lyrical about how valuable he found the workshop he attended 12 months previously.

He said that,’At the time, I didn’t think GBP mattered much. Looked like one of those “nice extras” you do when you’ve got time. And to be honest, I almost wrote it off.’

He was building his music agency, working with clients, and suddenly realizes:

“ As I started growing my business and working with Google, I realized many of the principles I apply today come directly from what I learned in Spence’s course. I’d encourage anyone who wants to strengthen their visibility and attract more clients to take his course. It’s extremely valuable, it only takes a few hours, and Spence has a great way of explaining things simply. Thank you, Spence, and good luck.” -

His words, not mine.

The point?
Most musicians and creatives ignore the boring-looking levers that quietly drive the whole business. Yes of course social media works and offline methods too but so many musicians in particular overlook Google Business Profiles as they just think its for Plumbers and Dentists, they dont really think it applies to them, eve though they are a service business and that most people still look on Google and especially pay attention to reviews (or the lack thereof)

Most artists and musicians I know would rather chase streams, hope for virality, or fiddle with hashtags.
Meanwhile, the ones who get serious about visibility and sovereignty are the ones who cash in.

That’s what Johan figured out.

And that’s what I help musicians build inside my Gold Package:

  • How to make Google do the heavy lifting to get you booked (while others fight algorithms).

  • How to turn one tiny system into steady gigs, fans, and revenue.

  • How to stop handing your future to middlemen and start owning the pipeline.

If you want a shot at building your own version of what Johan’s doing (without waiting a year to “get it”), here’s where to start.

P.S. Most artists will ignore this, just like Johan almost did. The difference is he actually applied it. That’s why his agency is growing while others are still waiting for luck.

Start your own online Vinyl distribution ElasticStage is the worlds first online vinyl store. As a partnership with them I can highly recommend their services. This can actually be a game changer for independent artists and can add a lot to your income.
